Author-Young Adult Science Fiction
Christopher Bradley is a debut author who began creating children and young adult stories to escape from his demanding career as a small-town city manager. While his educational and professional background centered on leadership and politics, Chris grew up imagining a world where the fantastical is weaved into our daily reality. Inspired by authors like Orson Scott Card, Terry Goodkind, and Clive Cussler, Chris’ stories bring relatable characters into an alternative reality where good and evil are intertwined with individual destiny.
Chris attended University of Texas at Austin and graduated in 2006 with a B.A. in Government and a minor in History. He received a M.P.A. from California State University in 2009. He has served in town government for over 15 years, but his true devotion lies in the mythical worlds he creates through writing.
When he is not writing or working, Chris spends his time coaching his 3 boys in youth sports, rehearsing book ideas with his daughter, and tending to the garden and chickens with his wife. He spends the rest of his down time obsessing over the Houston Astros and Texas Longhorn football.
